Confirmation fee for Búðakrikja

Terms of payment

Búðakirkja reserves the right to cancel, or move bookings, e.g. due to unexpected activities in the church involving parishioners, the maintenance of the church, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
All rentals at the church are according to a conversation between the supervisor and the buyer and take place on the day and at the time agreed. If the agreed time frame is not respected, Búðakirkja reserves the right to charge extra for the presence of the church warden, both at the time agreed upon and the real-time that the use takes place due to delay.
The buyer promises to obey the church rules as stated on the website. When booking the church, a confirmation fee is paid, which is non-refundable. The final fee has to be paid at least 5 days prior to the booked date. Cancellations are refundable in full, with the exception of the confirmation fee, up to 5 days before the booked date, later cancellations will be charged full price.
The seller promises the buyer full confidentiality regarding all information he provides in connection with the transaction. Information will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances. This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case of any dispute, it shall be brought before the District Court of Vesturland Iceland.
